Vadivelu (sometimes Vadivel) is one of a leading comedian in the Tamil movie industry. Year 2000, he has dominated the movie scene in Kollywood, along with comedian Vivek. Vadivel born in the southern city of Madurai, Vadivelu is nicknamed Vaigai puyal (the Vaigai storm, after the river Vaigai, which flows through the city).
